Antti Kokkomäki & Tammikuun Lapset

Antti Kokkomäki & Tammikuun Lapset is the indie pop project of Finland-based songwriter Antti Kokkomäki. The music blends personal storytelling and Nordic melancholy with strong pop melodies, performed in Finnish. The project began in 2011 after a tragedy. Kokkomäki’s uncle, an important musical influence, died in an act of violence. After his death, a box of poems was discovered in his apartment. One of them – "Tammikuun lapsi" – met Kokkomäki’s unfinished composition, giving birth to both a song and the name of the project. After a long hiatus, Antti Kokkomäki & Tammikuun Lapset returns with new music. The single “Me sinua kaivataan” will be released on April 10th 2026.
