Big Day South 2021

빅데이사우스는 오디오 비주얼 페스티벌이다. 서울외 지역의 아티스트들에게 주목하며, 다양한 장르의 협업 공연을 통해 소통의 장을 만들고자 노력해왔다. 2014년 처음으로 대구에서 시작된 이후 울산, 광주, 부산을 거쳐 2021년 다시 대구에서 시작한다. 사회적 거리두기 지침에 따라 한정된 수량의 티켓을 판매하고, 이후 모든 공연은 녹화 및 녹음되어 온라인으로도 판매될 예정이다.

빅데이사우스 2021은 community, collaboration, celebration 세가지 키워드를 주제로 2일동안 진행되며, 대구 인디씬의 중심인 클럽헤비에서 금, 토 공연과 헤비인근의 새로운 책방 스마일브로들리에서 시, 어쿠스틱, 몸짓 등의 공연이 펼쳐질 예정이다.

Big Day South is an audio-visual festival that celebrates the creative communities of Korea outside of the capital. Returning to Daegu where the festival was first held in 2014, current social distancing measures will be strictly followed over the 2 days of the event. With limited tickets available to see the show in person, there will also be tickets for a full recording streamed after the event.

Big Day South provides a space for community, collaboration, and celebration. Art performances will be held at new book shop and screen printing store Smile Broadly, while 2 nights of music will take place at the legendary home of music in Daegu, Club Heavy.
